November 16th Monthly Meeting

Business Analysis: Lessons from the Trenches

 Jane Villa-Kurtz, CBAP

Our November meeting is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) when we vote for members to join the chapter's board.  Due to a conflict with the annual IIBA International Building Business Capability (BBC) conference, this month's meeting will be held on the third Thursday of November rather than the second Thursday of November.  Come join us, vote for board members, and hear Jane Villas-Kurtz, CBAP, speak on lessons from the trenches.

Learning Objectives:

1.  How to excel at being a BA - whether a new BA or a seasoned one

2. Navigating tough terrain as a BA

3. Business practice tips on navigating throughout your BA career

Jane is an experienced Business Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry.  Throughout her career, Jane has worked with subject matter experts to improve business process using a variety of methods including JAD (Joint Application Development).

Jane is a business analyst at Minnesota IT Services.  She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
